Classes are designed to be interchangeable for both online and in-person
In this series of acting, singing, and dancing classes for kids in Westchester, NY we introduce them both individually and as a group to expressing themselves vocally, dramatically and through movement, with the goal of building confidence. Students will work on a specially designed play for each age group, challenging them as they grow. All plays include a solo song, scripted lines, group song, and a choreographed dance, culminating in a fabulous performance for family and friends.
Geared toward serious-minded students who are ready to take their singing and acting techniques to the next level. The Advanced program for 4th-8th grades will work individually with a singing teacher, learning vocal technique and the art of telling a story through the song. Each student will dive into developing their acting skills and breaking down characters with longer scenes/monologues with memorization required. Students will also get creative and think on their feet with fun and challenging improvisation games. The emphasis of this class is on learning essential skills for performances in local or professional theater. It's like having a private lesson within a group setting. As they get older, the material they work on will become more challenging and continue to strengthen their skills.
This inspiring program of acting and singing classes culminates in an intimate showcase for family and friends known as Cabaret Night. Each student performs a full song as well as a scene or monologue.
If your children love to perform and you want to keep them busy after school ends but before summer camp begins, Star Kidz Pre-K camp is the place to be!
Each session includes fun, creative acting games, singing pop, Broadway, and Disney classics, creative movement, and arts and crafts. As with all Star Kidz classes, campers will work both individually and as part of a group. On the last day, campers will perform what they've learned for family and friends.
Our short Star Kidz Express session allows students to continue to enjoy their Star Kidz experience in a fun, non-performance based format.
Our focus is on creativity and imagination through acting exercises, audition technique and individualized singing each week. It is perfect not only for the current student who wants to continue on with Star Kidz before summer vacation begins, but also the new student who would like to give the program
a try for the first time.

Our workshops are not limited to kids who aspire to perform professionally but we encourage students to participate who are truly serious about honing in on their skills. All of our workshops help build confidence and poise to better prepare them for public speaking, school plays and local or professional theatrical opportunities. These are unique opportunities to learn from industry experts. Below are examples of some of our past workshops. Stay tuned for future workshops.
The focus of these workshops is general audition and on-camera technique, and they represent a unique opportunity to get your children in front of a major casting director. They will use Jen's book CONFESSIONS OF A CASTING DIRECTOR as a guide for the on-camera workshop.
The focus of this workshop is On Camera acting technique. However, the skills they will learn will be invaluable for auditions in local theater or professional roles. They will learn how to break down a scene for TV or film, to make their audition more professional and stand out, to be flexible and versatile in the audition room and to make smart and interesting acting choices.
